What the limits mean in practice
- Free: 10 guides and 20 minutes of video, with a watermark on video, plus three one-time AI trial passes.
- Starter: 30 guides and 100 video minutes, no watermark, and the full paid feature set.
- Pro: unlimited guides and 1,200 video minutes.
- Team: unlimited guides, 800 video minutes per seat, plus invites, roles, comments, and view analytics.
Guide count is how many guides exist in your workspace, not how many you have ever made. Deleting a guide frees the slot. Video minutes are an allowance on your plan, so a limit stops new recording and import rather than affecting anything you have already made.
Hitting a limit never takes away content you already have. Existing guides stay readable, existing links stay live, and export keeps working.
The three AI trial passes
AI features are a paid capability, but a free account gets three one-time passes so you can see what a generated summary or a document-from-recording actually produces before deciding it is worth paying for. They are consumed as you use them and do not renew.
Capture itself never needs AI. Steps, screenshots, click highlights, and auto-blur are all deterministic, so a free account with zero passes left still captures guides perfectly.
Monthly and annual
Every paid tier can be billed monthly or annually, and annual is meaningfully cheaper per month. Team stays per seat either way, with the same volume brackets at 2, 5, and 10 seats. Toggle the cycle on the pricing page to see both.
Changing your card, invoices, and cancelling
Open Billing in the app and choose the option to manage your subscription. That opens the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can update your card, download invoices, change plan, or cancel. Card details are entered on Stripe and never touch a Knovvy server.
You need to be an admin or the owner of the workspace to reach billing.
