Captions and where the audio goes
  • Transcription runs on infrastructure Knovvy operates using whisper.cpp. Your audio is not sent to a third-party speech vendor.
  • One pass produces both a plain transcript and timed caption cues, which is also what the creator suite uses to find silences.
  • Captions are on every plan. Styling them (size, color, background, position, bold, uppercase) is a paid feature.
  • Transcription is English-only today. Translated captions are on the roadmap.
Comments and analytics

Team workspaces get timestamped, threaded comments on a recording, so feedback points at a moment rather than describing one. View analytics show who watched and who finished.
